CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Citadel tennis team (0-7) dropped its match to North Carolina (4-0) on Sunday in Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
 
Sophomore 
Michael Anzalone and freshman 
Isaac Stolar battled North Carolina's No. 43-ranked doubles duo Robert Kelly and William Blumberg at the No. 2 position and fell by a 6-3 decision. North Carolina swept the remainder of the doubles competition to take a 1-0 lead.
 
In the singles competition, 
Matthew Henson faced No. 38-ranked Ronnie Schneider for the Tar Heels and dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision at the No. 1 position. The Tar Heels continued on to win the singles competition earning a 7-0 decision for the day against the Bulldogs.
 
The Citadel's tennis team will take a break this weekend before continuing their season in Atlanta, Georgia, against Georgia Gwinnett at 2 p.m. February 4th.
