CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team fell 3-2 to Southern Conference opponent UNCG to close out the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 11 in McAlister Field House.
The UNCG Spartans (18-10, 11-5 SoCon) started fast against the Bulldogs (8-25, 2-14) to take the 25-18 win in the first set. The Bulldogs bounced back to take sets two and three 25-23 and 25-19, respectively. The Spartans answered by winning the fourth set 25-22 and closing out the match in the fifth set 15-11.

Sarah Dobrich earned eight total blocks against UNCG, breaking The Citadel's all-time single-season record with 129 total blocks. Freshman
Megan Fuhr set a new personal best 32 assists, and freshman
Sharlissa De Jesus tallied a team-high 17 kills.
