CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team heads to Hempstead, New York, on Sunday, Dec. 3 to compete in the Hofstra Duals beginning at 12:00 p.m. against Hofstra and again at 2:00 p.m. against Pennsylvania.
 
Joining the Bulldogs (1-2) this weekend at Hofstra are last years' Southern Conference champions Campbell who currently sit at 2-2 this season after most recently falling to Maryland, 20-19 in College Park, Maryland.
 
Most recently, the Bulldogs competed in the Navy Classic in Annapolis, Md., where junior Sawyer Root earned a fifth-place finish in the 197-pound weight class. Root defeated Bucknell's Joe Scott by an 8-2 decision before dropping the quarterfinal match by fall.
