Box Score 2 ATLANTA, Ga. – The Citadel tennis team defeated Point 7-2 and fell 7-0 to Georgia Tech on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (6-10) won two out of the three doubles over Point beginning with an 8-5 win by sophomore
Michael Anzalone and freshman Willem von Zyl at the number 2 position. Senior
Connor Grady and freshman
Noah Nawabi took the number 3 doubles with a score of 8-2.
In the singles competition, sophomore
Matthew Henson won 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot and Nawabi earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory at the number 3 position. Von Zyl took a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 4 position, sophomore
Roy Hobson won 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 5 spot, and sophomore
Trey Davis finished with a score of 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 6 spot.
