Bulldogs to Participate in High Point Team Challenge

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel's track and field teams will compete in the High Point Team Challenge in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Thursday.
Last weekend, the men's and women's squads competed in the Buccaneer Invitational in Johnson City, Tennessee. Sophomore Josiah Johnson finished eighth overall in the 60-meter dash after qualifying with a time of 6.88 seconds, the third-fastest time in program history, in the semifinals. Senior Ross Jordan also took third place in the 5,000 with a time of 15:12.95.
For the women's team, senior Caillian Colquitt placed 11th overall in the 5,000 with a time of 19:00.09. In the field, junior Mady Riegel took the No. 11 spot in the weight toss final with a throw of 43-7.75, and freshman Jessy Page earned 13th place with a toss of 42-10.25.
The Team Challenge is scheduled to last all day on February 9, and results will be available at CitadelSports.com.
