Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team dropped a doubleheader against Richmond on Saturday at the Earle Tennis Center.
 
The Spiders swept the singles and doubles competitions in the first match to earn a 7-0 victory.
 
In the second match, freshman Noah Nawabi won at the No. 4 position with a score of 4-6, 6-0, 6-3 against Richmond's James Aronson. Sophomore Roy Hobson also put up a fight against Matt Fernandez for the Spiders at No. 5, but fell 4-6, 6-1, 6-1.The Bulldogs eventually fell to Richmond in the second match 6-1.
 
The Bulldogs will host Illinois State and North Carolina Central on Tuesday at the Earle Tennis Center.  
 
The first match against Illinois State is set for noon with the match against North Carolina Central scheduled for 5 p.m. Results for both matches will be available at CitadelSports.com.
