CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team will host DePaul at the Earle Tennis Center on Tuesday before playing the College of Charleston at Patriots Point.
Last week, the Bulldogs (10-19) pulled off a close 4-3 win over Chattanooga for their first conference win since 2010. The Bulldogs also defeated UT Dallas by a score of 8-1.
Freshman
Noah Nawabi improved his singles wins to a team-high 14 victories, and sophomore
Roy Hobson captured his 10th singles win this season against Eric Chen from UT Dallas.
Senior
Connor Grady and Nawabi have won a team-high 11 doubles matches, and sophomore
Michael Anzalone and freshman
Isaac Stolar are second with six wins.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to face DePaul at 1 p.m., and the match against the Cougars is set for 8 p.m. The Blue Demons are 10-6 this season and will face the Bulldogs after falling 6-1 to Notre Dame. The Cougars have an 8-5 record and host the Bulldogs after dropping their match to Elon at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center in Elon, North Carolina, on Saturday.
