Bulldogs Set to Host Paladins on Saturday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team will host conference competitor Furman on Saturday at the Earle Tennis Center.
 
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs (10-21, 1-1 SoCon) fell to DePaul at home by a score of 6-1 before being defeated at the College of Charleston 5-2.
 
Freshman Noah Nawabi earned his team-high 15th singles victory when he won 6-4, 6-4 over DePaul's Christopher Casati. Sophomore Roy Hobson sits at second with 10 singles wins.
 
Senior Connor Grady and Nawabi have won a team-high 11 doubles matches this season, and sophomore Michael Anzalone and freshman Isaac Stolar are second with six wins.
 
The Paladins are 10-5 this season, having won seven of their last 10 matches, and will compete against the Bulldogs after hosting Samford on Friday. Friday's match against Samford will be the Paladins' first conference match of the season.
 
The Bulldogs' match against Furman is scheduled for 2 p.m., and match results will be available at CitadelSports.com.
