Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Citadel tennis team fell to UNCG on Tuesday afternoon at the UNCG Tennis Courts.  
 
In the doubles competition, the Spartans (6-7, 2-2 SoCon) swept the Bulldogs (10-25, 1-3) to take a 1-0 lead for the day.
 
In singles play, freshman Willem van Zyl earned the lone win for the Bulldogs over UNCG's William Albright by a score of 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 (4-0) at the No. 3 position. The Spartans went on to claim the 6-1 victory.
 
The Bulldogs are scheduled to take on Navy and Georgetown in Washington, D.C., on Sunday. Navy currently holds a 15-16 record after defeating Lehigh 7-0 on Saturday. Georgetown is 4-9 for the season and will face the Bulldogs after playing George Mason on March 30.
