The Citadel Hosts Doubleheader Wednesday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team will take on Wofford and USC Sumter at the Earle Tennis Center on Wednesday.

The matches were originally scheduled for April 5 but were postponed until Wednesday due to inclement weather.

Freshman Noah Nawabi leads the Bulldogs (10-27, 1-3 SoCon) with 17 singles victories this season. Sophomore Roy Hobson and freshman Willem van Zyl are tied for second with 11 singles wins.

Nawabi and senior Connor Grady continue to lead the Bulldogs in doubles wins with 11 total victories, and sophomore Michael Anzalone and freshman Isaac Stolar have the team's second-highest wins total with six.

The Terriers (12-8, 2-3) won their most recent match 6-1 again Chattanooga last Sunday. Wednesday's match will be the second time the Bulldogs have faced USC Sumter this season after defeating the Fire Ants 8-1 at the USC Sumter Invitational back in February.
