CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team will take on Wofford and USC Sumter at the Earle Tennis Center on Wednesday.
The matches were originally scheduled for April 5 but were postponed until Wednesday due to inclement weather.
Freshman
Noah Nawabi leads the Bulldogs (10-27, 1-3 SoCon) with 17 singles victories this season. Sophomore
Roy Hobson and freshman
Willem van Zyl are tied for second with 11 singles wins.
Nawabi and senior
Connor Grady continue to lead the Bulldogs in doubles wins with 11 total victories, and sophomore
Michael Anzalone and freshman
Isaac Stolar have the team's second-highest wins total with six.
The Terriers (12-8, 2-3) won their most recent match 6-1 again Chattanooga last Sunday. Wednesday's match will be the second time the Bulldogs have faced USC Sumter this season after defeating the Fire Ants 8-1 at the USC Sumter Invitational back in February.
The match against the Terriers is scheduled for 1 p.m., and the match against the Fire Ants is set for 5 p.m. Full results will be available at CitadelSports.com at the conclusion of both matches.
