CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel track and field teams will travel to North Charleston, South Carolina, to compete in the CSU-hosted Lowcountry Invitational on Saturday.

Junior Mady Riegel is currently ranked No. 1 in the Southern Conference with a javelin throw of 143 feet, 0 inches. Riegel earned The Citadel's record-breaking throw at the CSU Spring Break Invitational, also held in North Charleston, on March 17.

Freshman Jessy Page is ranked fourth in the SoCon in both the discus and hammer throw. Page earned a 137-11 toss in the discus last week at the Bill Carson Invitational, putting her third on the Bulldogs' all-time list. The Clermont, Florida, native took first place at the Weems Baskin Invitational in the hammer throw with a heave of 160-7 to earn third on the program's all-time list.

Senior Malik Diggs earned the SoCon's No. 1 spot in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.35 seconds at CSU's Spring Break Invitational. Diggs' time moves him from No. 3 to No. 2 on the program's all-time list. The Laurinburg, North Carolina, native is also ranked sixth in the SoCon in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.28.

Sophomore Josiah Johnson is ranked third in the SoCon in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.71 from the CSU Spring Break Invitational. Johnson also earned the eighth-fastest time in the SoCon in the 200 meters with a time of 22.34 at the Bill Carson Invitational.

Seniors Jackson Nosbisch and Mitchell Noel are both ranked second in the SoCon in the high jump with 6-4 leaps, both at the Weems Baskin Invitational. Sophomore Charlie Hatler is ranked second in the javelin with a toss of 179-9, and sophomore Ja'Lon Williams is ranked fourth in the shot put with a throw of 48-4.

Saturday's invitational is being hosted at the Bagwell-Settle Track and is scheduled to last all day. Full meet results will be available at the conclusion of all events on CitadelSports.com.
