CHARLESTON, S.C. –The Citadel volleyball team 3-0 on Friday, Sept. 29 against Southern Conference opponent Chattanooga in McAlister Field House.
 
The Bulldogs (6-14, 1-3 SoCon) put up a fight but ultimately fell 3-0 to the Mocs. Freshman Sharlissa De Jesus led the Bulldogs with 9 kills and 10 digs, with senior Moriah Smith following closely behind with 7 kills and 10 digs.  
 
Coming up for the Bulldogs is another home conference match on Saturday against East Tennessee State at 2:00 p.m. The ETSU Bucs are 5-8 overall and 1-1 in the SoCon after a home-loss to UNC-Greensboro on Friday, Sept. 22. The Bucs traveled to Furman on Friday, Sept. 29 and the match was scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
 
Saturday's match against the Bucs will be broadcast by ESPN3 and live stats will be available on CitadelSports.com.
