24th Annual All-Academy Schedule

Notes: Brackets will be published on Friday night. The video stream will provide all-day coverage of the tournament with broadcasters joining for the semifinals and finals. 

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team welcomes Southern Conference rival VMI on Thursday, Jan. 25 before hosting the 24^th Annual All-Academy Championships on Saturday, Jan. 27.
 
The All-Academy Championship is presented by USAA and is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday with doors opening at 9 a.m. Admission is $5 for children and $10 for adults, and finals are predicted to begin no earlier than 5:30 p.m. Competing alongside the Bulldogs is Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine Academy, Navy, Norwich and VMI. Last season, the Bulldogs (1-7, 0-2 SoCon) defeated the VMI Keydets (1-5, 1-2) on the road in a close 19-16 battle, giving the Bulldogs their first conference win of the season. Thursday's match against the Keydets begins at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on the SoCon Digital Network. Live stats will also be available at CitadelSports.com.
 
The Bulldogs most recently dropped their second conference match of the season 38-7 to Chattanooga in McAlister Field House on Sunday, Jan 21. Senior Ty Buckiso and sophomore Michael McAleavey both earned points for the Bulldogs with a 6-3 decision from Buckiso and an 18-4 major decision by McAleavey.
