RESULTS

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 22^nd-ranked Citadel mixed rifle team finished third behind fourth-ranked TCU and No. 23 Georgia Southern Saturday afternoon at the Inouye Marksmanship Center. The Bulldogs posted a 4529 aggregate score, while the Horned Frogs finished with a 4703 and the Eagles wrapped up the day with a 4564.

TCU's Rachel Garner and Liz Marsh took the top two spots as both shot a 596 in air rifle. Garner ended the day with an 1185 aggregate after starting her day with a 589 in three-position smallbore. Marsh finished second with an 1178 that included a 582 in smallbore.

Georgia Southern was led by Rosemary Kramer's 1174, including an impressive 597 in air rifle following a 577 in smallbore.

Senior Allison Auten led the way for the Bulldogs with an 1138 aggregate score, the eighth-best aggregate score on the day. Auten battled back after posting a 563 in smallbore to score a 575 in air rifle.

Sophomore Max Brabston finished 10^th overall with an 1137 aggregate score, firing a 561 in smallbore and a 576 in air rifle.

Freshman Izzie Blystone and senior Leah Wallace each set career bests in air rifle as Blystone shot a 583 and Wallace fired off a 577. Blystone, who's air rifle score was the ninth-best on the day, ended the day with an 1136 aggregate score with her 553 smallbore score counting for the 'Dogs, while Wallace shot an 1109.

Junior Alexander McAlear finished his day with an 1124 aggregate score, made up of a 562 in both smallbore and air rifle.

Freshman Emily Perkins' air rifle score of 562 counted as the final air rifle score for the Bulldogs on the afternoon.

For the women's team, Abby Koger, Tierra Price and Lauren Pringle all combined for a 3019. Pringle led the way with a 1049 (504 smallbore, 545 air rifle) ahead of Price's 1029 (506 smallbore, 523 air rifle). Koger ended her day with a 941 aggregate score (464 smallbore, 477 air rifle).

Coming Up
The Bulldogs will travel to Statesboro, Georgia next weekend to face off again against Georgia Southern on Saturday, Oct. 27. Action will get underway at 8 a.m.
