CHARLESTON, S.C. – Monday's Citadel baseball game against UConn has been cancelled due to the continuing threat of rain. The Bulldogs claimed the series 2-1 over the Huskies.

The Bulldogs (7-8) will now turn their attention to a midweek tilt against Richmond (7-7) on Wednesday, March 14. With the game falling on National Pi Day, the game will be sponsored by Papa John's Pizza and the first 80 fans through the gates of Joe Riley Park will receive a free slice of pizza.

Normal midweek game promotions will also continue to be in effect, including the Ashley Furniture Best Seats in the Park and the all-new Kickin' Chicken Baseball Bingo.
