Kate Manzione, slipping the ball past the Francis Marion keeper to find the much-needed equalizer. The first goal of the afternoon for the Bulldogs sent the game into a golden-goal overtime period where freshman
Kessy Bradshaw continued to shine as she drew a foul in the box and then deftly put her penalty kick into the right upper 90 for the win.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs out-shot the Patriots 29-1 in the game, including 13-0 in the opening period.
- FMU's goalkeeper made 14 saves on the afternoon, including five in the first half and nine in the second as The Citadel maintained possession of the ball for much of the game.
- The Citadel took 16 corner kicks while FMU had none. 13 of the Bulldogs' corners came in the second half.
Notables
- The game-winner is the first of Bradshaw's career, but the third goal of the season for the freshman.
- The Bulldogs have started the season 3-0 for the third straight year, marking the first time in program history that has happened.
- The 29 shots taken are tied for 10th-most by a Citadel team in a single game.
