CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Bulldogs are now riding a three-game win streak after toppling Wofford, 3-1, for their first conference victory of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs quickly took charge of the first set, stopping two three-point runs by the Terriers to put together multiple runs of their own to win the set 25-23.
- By a score of 10-5 in the second set, led by The Citadel, junior Sharlissa De Jesus had already recorded 10 kills for the night.
- Three separate runs by the 'Dogs aided in another 25-23 set win.
- The Terriers bounced back in set three, piecing together three separate four-point runs to hold off the Bulldogs to earn their only set victory on the night, 25-22.
- McAlister Field House was shaking during the fourth set, thanks in part to the fans rooting on the 'Dogs.
- The Citadel was tied with Wofford seven different times throughout the fourth set before taking the lead for the final time at point 19.
- This is the first time the Bulldogs have beaten Wofford since 2011.
BY THE NUMBERS
- The Bulldogs front row out hit the Terriers front line, finishing out the contest with a .285 hitting percentage to Wofford's .184.
- Junior Sharlissa De Jesus logged yet another double-double with 22 kills and 12 digs, her sixth of the season.
- Makaya Middleton topped her previous career-high of 10 kills, hammering down 16 against the Terriers.
- Program blocks record holder Sarah Dobrich, registered a season-high six blocks throughout the match.

"It's great to get that first win taken care of, but hopefully this is the beginning of a streak," said head coach
Dave Zelenock. "Chattanooga is a very different team than Wofford so we will really have to prepare for what they bring to the match."
