HOW IT HAPPENED
- Western Carolina outshot the Bulldogs 9-0 in the first half, forcing freshman Brie Sikes to make three saves in the first 45 minutes.
- Sikes ended the night with five saves, a career high.
- The Catamounts continued to keep the pressure up in the second half, outshooting The Citadel 7-2.
- Freshman Suzuka Yosue logged both of The Citadel's shots, including one off a free kick in the 58th minute that forced the Catamount keeper to make a diving save.
- WCU held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.

The Citadel will close out the final road swing of the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 20 with a 2 p.m. kickoff at ETSU.
