GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Bulldogs dropped their first road conference match Wednesday night to UNCG in straight sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED

After giving up the first four points in the match, the Bulldogs wouldn't allow the Spartans to go any such run the rest of the first set.
The Citadel recorded 50 digs on the night, compared to UNCG's 37.
Freshman Makaya Middleton notched a career-high 10 kills.
Sharlissa De Jesus registered her fourth double-double for the year with 11 kills and 15 digs against the Spartans.

The Bulldogs are back on the court Saturday, Oct. 5, against Furman at 6 p.m.
