RESULTS

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 23^rd-ranked Citadel mixed rifle team and the 29^th-ranked women's team traveled to 12^th-ranked Jacksonville State Saturday. The Bulldogs' mixed team posted the best team aggregate score of the season and five individuals set personal bests.

JSU took the match with a team aggregate score of 4640, while the mixed team posted a 4549 and the Bulldog women recorded an aggregate score of 3696.

For the mixed team, freshman Cameron Bates led the way with an aggregate score of 1,143, while senior Alexander McAlear posted a team second-best 1,135.

For the women's team, senior Victoria Krone and freshman Demi Perez both set personal records. Krone fired off an aggregate score of 1052, while Perez led the way for the women with a 1071.

THREE-POSITION SMALLBORE

• Max Brabston led the way for the Bulldogs' mixed team in three-position smallbore with a personal-record 575.
• Bates also set a PR with a mixed team second-best score 567.
• McAlear was third on the squad with a 558.
• For the women, Krone set a personal record with a 522, matching Perez who also set a personal record with her own 522.

AIR RIFLE

• McAlear led the way for the mixed team in air rifle with a 577.
• Bates set a personal record with a mixed team second-best 576.
• Brandon Oerman also set a personal record in air, firing off a 574.
• For the women, Krone set a PR in air with a 530.
• Perez led the way with a 549.
• Senior Tierra Price was second on the team with a 545.

COMING UP
The Bulldogs will be off until Jan. 25 when VMI travels to Charleston for the first match of the 2020 portion of the season.
