CHARLESTON, S.C. - The track and field teams will travel to Lexington, Virginia compete at the Southern Conference Indoor Championships set for Feb. 23-24 inside VMI's Corps Physical Training Facility.
The Bulldogs are coming off an impressive outing at the USC Open where Sam Blumer broke a six-year record in the pole vault. Blumer currently holds the number two spot in the conference with a mark of 15-7.25 meters.

The 'Dogs have 36 cadet-athletes in this year's SoCon Indoor Championship, returning one SoCon Champion in Josiah Johnson and six sophomores that were named to the All-Freshman team at last years' competition.
In 2018, former Bulldog Malik Diggs took first place in the 60m hurdles while Josiah Johnson took first in the 60m dash. The men's 4x400 team took second place in the relay with a time of 3:17.15, the second fastest in school history.
