BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Freshman Hayley Long scored her second goal of the preseason in the first period of action, but The Citadel women's soccer team was unable to overcome a late goal by the Campbell Camels, falling 2-1 on the road in the final preseason match.

MEET THE BULLDOGS ON SATURDAY, AUG. 24
The Citadel's annual Fall Meet The Bulldogs event is set for Aug. 24 inside Johnson Hagood Stadium. The event, which is free and open to the public, is set for 10 a.m.-noon, and is sponsored by Pepsi and TD Bank.

The event features an opportunity for fans to meet and get autographs from cadet-athletes and coaches from The Citadel's football, soccer and volleyball programs. The two-hour event also gives fans an opportunity for activity stations on the field, Pepsi product giveaways, photo opportunities, face painting and playing in the jump castle.
