TROY, Ala. – The Citadel volleyball team snatched a win against the Florida A&M Rattlers on Sunday, 3-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sharlissa De Jesus and Mellanie King put in work for the Bulldogs on the floor today.
- De Jesus wrapped up the match with 24 kills and 15 digs, while King added 11 kills and 20 digs for the day.
- Freshman Amie Green stepped into the setter's position and closed out the match with 24 assists.
- The Bulldogs doubled the Rattlers service aces with 12 through five sets.

Dave Zelenock about the team's takeaways from this weekend leading into conference play. "If we can learn from our mistakes, rather than giving into the negative side of the mental game, we'll continue to grow throughout the season."
NEXT UP
The Bulldogs will travel to North Carolina Central Tuesday, Sept 24 before returning to McAlister field house to begin conference play. The Citadel will host two conference matches this week against Mercer and Samford.
