HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 'Dogs battled on the front line but finished the match with .175 kill percentage to the Eagles' .279.
- Mellanie King registered another double-double for The Citadel with 13 kills and 16 digs. Megan Fuhr also registered double-digits with 39 assists and 10 digs.
- NCCU amassed 12 blocks on the night to The Citadel's five.
- Freshman Maddy Cardenas is the first Bulldog since 2016 to record six service aces in a single match.
