  • With 7:13 left in the first half, Nathan Hoover extended Wofford's lead out to eight, 25-17, for the largest lead of the half, but the Bulldogs managed to pull to within two, 29-27, with 4:09 left to play in the period after freshman Fletcher Abee converted three free throws.

  • Neither team managed to score in the final 1:49 of the first half, sending the Bulldogs into the locker room trailing by one.
  • Wofford came out of the intermission and established a six-point, 36-30 lead through the first two minutes of the second half, but a Kaiden Rice 3-pointer and a free throw from Harris cut the deficit back down to two, 36-34 with just over 17 minute left.
  • In the middle portion of the second half, Wofford never managed to establish more than a six-point lead as The Citadel continued to answer nearly shot-for-shot.
  • With 13:29 to play, Wofford began a run to extend things out to a 13, with the Terriers claiming a 14-point lead twice, including 65-51 with 4:00 left to play.
  • However, the Bulldogs continue to fight, as Alex Reed hit a trey and Harris continued to put up crucial buckets.

  • Abee was second on the team with 14 points, including a game-high three 3-pointers, while Batiste was the final Bulldog in double-digit scoring with 10 points to go along with seven assists and six boards.
  • Hoover was the leading scorer for the Terriers with 19 points, including going a perfect 9-for-9 at the free throw line.

NOTES
  • Harris becomes the first Bulldog to score at least 30 points since Kaiden Rice scored 30 against ETSU earlier this season on Dec. 4, 2019. The 32 points by Harris are the most since Connor Kern netted 32 points last season at home against UNC Greensboro on Feb. 28.
  • Harris recorded his sixth double-double of the season and seventh of his career.
  • With his seven assists, Batiste now boasts 95 on the year. He is just 24 away from cracking the top 15 in program history for assists in a single season.

COMING UP
The Bulldogs next return home for a game against the Spartans of UNCG on Wednesday, Jan 15. Tipoff on ESPN+ will be at 7 p.m. The 'Dogs will then be on the road for a pair of games at VMI (Jan. 18) and Chattanooga (Jan. 22).
