CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed and women's rifle teams travel to 18th-ranked North Georgia for a match on Saturday, Feb. 1.

BULLDOGS RANKED 22^nd IN THE NATION
The Bulldogs' mixed rifle team is currently ranked 22^nd in the nation and the women's team remained 27^th in this week's Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll released earlier this week. Kentucky took over the top spot from TCU this week with TCU falling to second. West Virginia, Akron and Air Force round out the top five with Memphis, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Navy and Army completing the top 10.

LAST TIME OUT
The 21^st-ranked Citadel mixed rifle team and the 27^th-ranked women's team hosted 22^nd-ranked VMI and the No. 26 VMI women's team Saturday at the Inouye Marksmanship Center Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs' mixed team posted an aggregate score of 4509 to take top honors. VMI's mixed team posted a score of 4476 with the VMI women's team finishing third with an aggregate score of 4363. The Citadel women wrapped up the day with an aggregate score of 4200.

Freshman Cameron Bates and junior Max Brabston finished 1-2 in the overall scores. Bates finished with an aggregate score of 1135, while Brabston posted an aggregate score of 1132.

SCOUTING NORTH GEORGIA
North Georgia boasts eight head-to-head wins on the year. Last weekend, the Nighthawks finished seventh of eight teams at an event hosted by Murray State.Kimberlee Nettles has recorded three of the Nighthawks' top five aggregate scores this season. Jayne Fraley has secured the other two. Nettles' top aggregate score of the season was an 1161 on Oct. 26. Nettles also boasts the team's top three smallbore scores, including a season-best 579. Fraley recorded the team's top air rifle score of the season, a 592 on Oct. 19.

The Bulldogs will next travel to Spartanburg to take on Wofford on Saturday, Feb. 8.
