Bulldogs Face Peacocks in Three-Game Set at The Joe

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel returns to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park for a three-game series against Saint Peter's on Feb. 28-March 1. The series opener is set for 4 p.m., with Saturday's game slated for a 2 p.m. start and a 1 p.m. first pitch for the series finale on Sunday.

SoCon Digital Network
The three-game series against Saint Peter's will be carried on the SoCon Digital Network. Dave Weinstein will have the call for all three games.

vs. Saint Peter's
The Citadel and Saint Peter's will be meeting for the first time on the diamond. This will be the first of two weekend series against teams from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs will also host Rider March 13-15.

16 Hits
The Citadel collected 16 hits in the victory over Charleston Southern. It is the most hits since the 34-hit outburst against Winthrop on March 14, 2017. The Bulldogs collected 15 hits in the series finale against Coppin State, and also had 15 hits in three games during the 2019 season.

Seven With Multi-Hit Games
The Bulldog lineup had seven of the nine starters have multi-hit games against CSU. Six of the players had two hits, while Cam Jensen led the way with three hits.

5-0 Start
The Citadel started the 2020 season by winning each of their first five games. It is the best start since the 1978 team opened the season with 17-straight wins.

On Deck
The Bulldogs hit the road for a midweek contest at USC Upstate on March 3. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
