CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 22^nd-ranked Citadel mixed and 28^th-ranked women's rifle teams travel to 25^th-ranked Wofford for a match on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Action is set to get underway at 8:30 a.m.

BULLDOGS RANKED 22^nd and 28^th IN THE NATION
The Bulldogs' mixed rifle team is currently ranked 22^nd in the nation and the women's team is 28^th in this week's Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll released earlier this week. Kentucky took over the top from TCU two weeks ago and retained the top with TCU remaining second. West Virginia, Akron and Air Force round out the top five with Nebraska, Ole Miss, Memphis, Navy and Army completing the top 10. The top eight teams in the rankings will advance to the NCAA Rifle Championships at the end of the season.

LAST TIME OUT
The 22^nd-ranked Citadel mixed rifle team and the 27^th-ranked women's team went on the road Saturday and competed against the No. 18 North Georgia Nighthawks. The Nighthawks took the match with an aggregate score of 4579 with the Bulldog mixed team notching an aggregate score of 4525. The Citadel women finished the day with an aggregate score of 4189.

The Nighthawks swept the top three spots in aggregate scoring led by Kimberlee Nettles' 1161. The Bulldogs took the next three spots, including junior Max Brabston in fourth (1138), senior Alexander McAlear fifth (1138) and freshman Cameron Bates sixth (1137).

SCOUTING WOFFORD
Saturday will mark the second head-to-head matchup of the season between the Bulldogs and the Terriers. The Citadel defeated Wofford 4544-4445 back on Oct. 5 in Charleston. Wofford will be hosting its third head-to-head match in a row, and second in as many weeks. The Terriers have been led by Daniel Wesson, who boasts the team's top five aggregate scores, including a season-best 1139 twice. Behind Wesson are Scott Condo, Andrew Visconti and Marcus Stallings.

COMING UP
The Bulldogs will be off for two weeks before hosting 12^th-ranked NC State, No. 20 UAB, 24^th-ranked Georgia Southern and Wofford on Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23 for an NCAA Qualifier match. The two-day match will serve as a last chance for individuals to qualify for the NCAA Rifle Championships.
