CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel rushed for 347 yards, but it was several plays that proved to be costly as the Bulldogs fell, 37-14, to Eastern Kentucky in the home opener Saturday afternoon at Johnson Hagood Stadium.

How it Happened
- The Colonels got on the board quickly after Parker McKinney hit Jazquez Jones for a 15-yard touchdown.
- The Bulldogs answered back late in the first quarter as Brandon Rainey found Raleigh Webb for a 28-yard touchdown.
- EKU closed out the first quarter with McKinney's second touchdown pass of the quarter, then opened the second quarter with a 50-yard touchdown pass.
- The Bulldogs converted a pair of fourth downs on their next drive, including Rainey's two-yard touchdown run on 4th-and-goal.
- The first half ended with Alexander Woznick connecting on a 21-yard field goal.
- EKU scored a pair of touchdowns in the second half, getting a long touchdown pass and a short touchdown run off of a turnover.
