SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel mixed and women's rifle teams return to action on Saturday when they travel to face Wofford in a Southern Conference match.
The Bulldogs will be competing for the third-straight weekend, while the Terriers are competing for just the second time in 2020-21. Both schools shot against UAB on Jan. 30. The Citadel shot a 4,546, while Wofford shot 4,272.
Cameron Bates has shot two of the top three scores this season. His 1,162 aggregate score on Jan. 30 is the highest for a Bulldogs this season. He also holds the third-best score at 1,155 from back in November.
Emily Perkins earns the second-best aggregate score at 1,258.
Charlotte Welsh holds down the fourth through seventh spots, with her best performance being a 1,153.
Bates has led the team in three-position smallbore, owning the top two performances this season. He is coming off a career-best 581 on Jan. 30.
Welsh has the seven best scores in air rifle, including a career-best 590 on Jan. 30.
The Bulldogs remain on the road next weekend as they travel to face North Georgia on Feb. 13.
