The contest is the first midweek game of the season for The Citadel. JU was scheduled to host the College of Charleston on Tuesday, but the game was postponed due to weather.

The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 2-4, while the Dolphins enter with a record of 0-7.

Wednesday's game will be the only road game during the first month of the season. The Bulldogs play 16 of their first 17 games inside the friendly confines of Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

Wednesday's contest marks the fourth-straight game against a team from the Atlantic Sun. The Citadel hosted North Florida in a three-game series over the weekend.
