CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel found itself on the short end of another one-score game Saturday afternoon as the Bulldogs fell, 28-21, to ETSU inside Johnson Hagood Stadium.

How it Happened

The Bucs got on the board first as the Bulldogs put the ball on the turf and Tyree Robinson scooped up the fumble and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown.
The Bulldogs answered back on their next possession as the Bulldogs took advantage of an ETSU fumble to get a one-yard touchdown run form Jaylan Adams.
The Citadel took its first lead of the game in the second quarter after Cooper Wallace raced to the corner for a three-yard touchdown.
The Bucs were able to take advantage of the Bulldogs' second miscue of the half to score on a four-yard Jacob Saylors touchdown reception just before the half.
ETSU used the momentum to open the second half with a 49-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Riddell to Will Huzzie.
The Bucs added to the lead with a Holmes on-yard touchdown run moments later.
The Citadel got back into the game with a 12-play drive late in the fourth quarter that ended with a four-yard touchdown run from Darique Hampton.

The Citadel defense held ETSU to just 41 rushing yards on 30 attempts.
The defense held the Bucs to just 223 yards of total offense.
The Bulldogs forced a pair of turnovers in the second half. Andrew Lewis recovered a fumble deep inside Buc territory to set up a touchdown.
Andy Davis registered his second interception of the season.
Nathan Storch led the offense with 54 yards on 19 carries.
Jaylan Adams rushed for 27 yards and his fifth touchdown of the spring. He also added 51 yards through the air.
Darique Hampton was forced into duty and ended with five yards and a touchdown. He also went 4-for-9 for 47 yards.
Raleigh Webb caught four passes for 72 yards, including a 44-yard pass from Adams.
