Inside The Numbers
2 -The Bulldog defense forced a pair of turnovers for the second time in as many home games this spring. Freshman Andrew Lewis recovered a fumble in the first quarter and Andy Davis intercepted his second pass of the season.
4 - The Citadel and Samford played an instant classic a season ago as the two teams played a four overtime thriller in the conference opener for both teams.
35:56 - The offense has been dominating time of possession this season. Through four conference games, the Bulldogs are holding the ball for 35:56 per game. The Bulldogs rank 11th nationally in time of possession through eight games.
41 - The Citadel defense held ETSU to just 41 yards rushing. The Bulldogs surrendered just 18 yards on the ground in the second half. It is the fewest rushing yards allowed since holding Charleston Souther to minus-1 yard on Nov. 29, 2018.
98 - The Bulldogs passed for a season-high 98 yards against ETSU. Two quarterbacks combined for the passing yards with Raleigh Webb being the main target for both signal callers.
