CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel is set to continue its outdoor season at the High Point VertKlasse Meeting on Thursday and Friday in High Point, N.C., its second meet of the campaign.

Thursday's action is tentatively slated to get underway at 10 a.m. with the men's hammer throw and will run through the men's 10,000m event at approximately 7:15 p.m. On Friday, the women's hammer throw will start the day at 9:30 a.m. before the meet concludes with the men's 4x400m relay at 4:50 p.m.

In their last time out, the Bulldogs competed at last week's Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by South Carolina, racking up 20 top-10 finishes between the men's and women's teams.

For the men, Evan McDonald and Prince Howard-Whitaker shined in the field events, as McDonald brought home the title in the javelin throw and Howard-Whitaker earned a podium finish in the hammer throw, taking third place.

On the women's side, reigning Southern Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week Milan Williams set the program record in the hammer throw with a mark of 178-2 (54.31m) to take fourth place in the event. Williams also brought home a fourth-place finish in the shot put.

The Citadel will return to Columbia, S.C., for its next event as the Bulldogs are set to compete in the Gamecock Invitational on Saturday, April 10.
