Bulldogs Welcome Bucs for Three-Game Series

GAME NOTES

CHARLESTON, S.C. -
The Citadel returns to Southern Conference action as the Bulldogs welcome ETSU to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park for a three-game series on April 16-17. Due to expected weather in the area, the teams will play a doubleheader on Friday at 2:30 p.m., and conclude with a 2 p.m. first pitch on Saturday.

Weekend Weather
Temperatures are expected to be in the upper-60s for Friday's doubleheader. The temperature will be similar on Saturday, but the chance of rain goes up significantly.

Masks Required
All fans inside Riley Park are required to wear a mask when not actively eating or drinking. Fans are also asked to socially distance inside the stadium.


ESPN+
All three games against ETSU will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The Citadel and ETSU have met 97 times since 1965. The Bulldogs hold a 60-37 advantage in the series.


Walk-Off Win
The Bulldogs rallied for a walk-off victory over Jacksonville as Brooks O'Brien delivered the game-winning suicide squeeze in the bottom of the 11th inning. It was the first walk-off for the Bulldogs since March 24, 2019 against VMI.


Ninth-Inning Comeback
The Citadel was down to their final out with the bases empty against Jacksonville. A base hit and a pair of walks loaded the bases for Brooks O'Brien to deliver the two-run single up the middle to tie the game.


On Deck
The Bulldogs close out their five-game home stand as they welcome the College of Charleston to Riley Park on April 20. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
