Baseball Heads to UNCG for Weekend Series

GAME NOTES

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Citadel hits the road for a three-game Southern Conference series at UNCG on April 23-24. The series gets underway with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, and concludes with a noon first pitch on Saturday.

Back-to-Back Jacks
Cole Simpson and Ben Hutchins hit back-to-back homers in the series finale against ETSU. The home runs came on two-consecutive pitches. It was Simpson's second home run of the season, while the long ball was the first career jack for Hutchins.

On Deck
The Bulldogs continue their road swing as they travel to face South Carolina on April 27. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. and will be aired on SEC Network+.
