CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel baseball team was not without chances on Tuesday night in a tight game against the College of Charleston, The Cougars came away with the 6-3 victory at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

How it Happened
- The Cougars got on the board in the first after a leadoff double came to score on a groundout from Ari Sechopoulos.
- The Citadel wasted little time in responding as Jeffery Brown started things with a triple into the left-field corner. Ryan McCarthy drove in Brown with a groundout to the right side.
- Crosby Jones got the rally going again with a double to left center. On the next pitch, Noah Mitchell lined a double to right field.
- CofC regained the lead in the second on a sacrifice fly and an infield grounder.
- The Cougars added a run in the eighth on a solo homer from Sechopoulos.
- The Bulldogs got the run back in the bottom of the inning as Brown singled and came around to score on Jones' single to right center.
- A leadoff walk in the top of the ninth came around to score on a stolen base and throwing error.

- Crosby Jones led the offense by going 3-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored.
- Travis Lott finished 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles.
