- CSU got on the board on their opening drive as Garris Schwarting caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Jack Chambers.
- The Bucs doubled the lead on their next possession Schwarting threw a six-yard touchdown pass on a reverse to Kyris Barnett.
- Schwarting caught his second touchdown late in the first quarter, this time from 27-yards out.
- The Citadel got on the board midway through the second quarter as Jaylan Adams capped a 13-play drive with a one-yard run on fourth down.
- After a Buc field goal, Keyonte Sessions scored on an eight yard run with 41 seconds left in the half.
- CSU opened the scoring in the second half with a 69 yard catch and run.
- The Bulldogs found the end zone again late in the third quarter as Cooper Wallace got to the outside and scored from 16 yards out.
- The Bucs closed out the scoring in the fourth quarter with Schwarting's four receiving touchdown of the game.
