Yosue Sets Assists Record in 8-0 Victory

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel junior Suzuka Yosue handed out three assists to become the school's all-time leader in career assists in the Bulldogs 8-0 victory over Johnson Saturday afternoon in Knoxville.

  • 11' – Suzuke Yosue got the scoring going with an unassisted goal.
  • 17' – Ani Ford got into the act moments later off a feed from Yosue
  • 23' – Yosue added her second of the match
  • 26' – Jordyn Geller added the Bulldogs third unassisted goal of the half.
  • 28' – Amber Fairfax closed out the first half with her first goal of the season of an assist from Ford.
  • 58' – Fairfax added her second of the game off a pass from Yosue.
  • 64' – Naya Boualany added the seventh goal of the match off Yosue's third assist.
  • 74' – Ani Ford closed out the scoring with her second goal of the match.
 
Inside the Box Score
  • Suzuka Yosue handed out three assists to set the school's career record for assists. She now has 20 in her career.
  • Yosue already has seven assists on the season, matching her total from the 2019 season.
  • She became the second player in program history to record seven assists in multiple seasons. Lea Raedle had seven assists in 2013 and 2014.
