JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Citadel got a pair of goals from
Jordyn Geller and
Suzuka Yosue in the first half, and used a stout defense to defeat ETSU, 2-0, Friday evening in the Southern Conference opener for both teams.

- 25' – Jordyn Geller got the Bulldogs on the board as she took the feed from Suzuka Yosue and beat the goalkeeper to the bottom right corner of the net.
- 29' – The Bulldogs doubled the advantage a short time later as Yosue scored her seventh goal of the season off a feed from Leanne Bryant.
