CHARLESTON. S.C. – The Citadel mixed and women's rifle teams announced their 17-match schedule on Wednesday. The schedule features 11 home matches inside the Inouye Marksmanship Center.
 
The Bulldogs open the season at home on Sept. 25-26. The Citadel faces Jacksonville State and Wofford on Saturday, then faces off against JSU on Sunday.
 
The Citadel has five matches during the month of October. The Bulldogs welcome UAB to the Lowcountry on Oct. 2. After a trip to JSU on Oct. 10, The Citadel hosts Nebraska (Oct. 16), TCU (Oct. 23) and Alaska Fairbanks (Oct. 30). The women's team will compete against the Nanooks on Oct. 31.
 
The Bulldogs close out the fall season with a match at VMI (Nov. 6) and a home match against North Georgia (Nov. 13).
 
The spring season opens on Jan. 16 with a trip to Georgia Southern. That match is followed by a home match against the Eagles (Jan. 22), and a quad match against Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State and VMI on Jan. 29.
 
February opens with matches at Wofford (Feb. 5) and North Georgia (Feb. 12). The Bulldogs final home match of the season is Feb. 19 against the Terriers.
 
The Southern Conference Championships will take place March 5-6 in Lexington, Virginia.
