- Nathan Storch carried the ball 23 times and scored his second career rushing touchdown in the third quarter.
- Linebacker Willie Eubanks III finished the game with a team-best 13 tackles. It marked the 13th time in his career that he has reached double figures in tackles.
- Eubanks raised his career total to 292 tackles. He is just eight stops away from becoming the 20th player in program history to reach 300 career tackles.

Willie Eubanks III was back to his old form as the senior started the season with 13 tackles in the season opener against Coastal Carolina. It was the 13th time in his career he has reached double digits in tackles.
34:39 - The Bulldogs possessed the ball for 34:39 in the season opener. The Citadel is one of the top teams in the FCS in time of possession each season. Last year, the Bulldogs won the TOP in 11 of the 12 games played.
100 - Quarterback
Jaylan Adams rushed for 100 yards in the season opener against Coastal Carolina. It was his third career 100-yard performance and the first for a Bulldog against a FBS opponent since Dante Smith ran for 130 yards against Alabama in 2018.
223 - As a team, the Bulldogs rushed for 223 yards in the season. The performance marked the eighth time in the last 11 games against FBS opponents that the Bulldogs eclipsed 200 rushing yards.
