The Bulldogs Sweep Mercer
The Citadel swept Mercer in conference play for the first time in program history. The Bulldogs defeated Mercer on Oct. 8 in straight sets and beat the Bears on the road off a dominating performance from
Ali Ruffin on Nov. 4.
Scouting ETSU
The Bucs come to McAlister Field House as the top-seeded team in the conference. ETSU is 20-7 overall and 14-1 in conference play. The Bucs are riding an eight-game winning streak after defeating Chattanooga on Nov. 9. Outside hitter Brianna Cantrell is leading the Bucs with 177 kills in conference play. Libero Haley Sanders holds down the defense with 193 digs within the conference. The Citadel lost a five-game set against ETSU in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Scouting Chattanooga
The Mocs come to McAlister Field House with a 15-15 overall and 9-6 conference record. In their most recent match, Chattanooga took a 3-0 defeat against ETSU on Nov. 9. Outside hitter Natalie Tyson ranks second in the conference with 208 kills. Libero Paige Gallentine has 233 digs in conference play. The Bulldogs took a 1-3 loss against Chattanooga on the road.
