LEXINGTON, Va. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams completed the 2022 indoor season on day two of the 2022 Southern Conference Track and Field Championships.

The Citadel's Stephen Kraeling, Carisma Holland, Prince Howard-Whitaker, and Sam Blumer earned all-conference honors for their performances.

The Bulldogs finished the Indoor Championships with 16 personal records. The men finished with 48.5 points to finish sixth, and the women finished seventh with
19 points.

Men's Results

• Sam Blumer earned a second-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 15-07. It marked the second-straight year he finished runner-up at the indoor championships.
• Prince Howard-Whitaker tossed 52-8.75 to earn himself a third-place finish in the weight throw.
• Devin Merrick cleared 14-7.25 in the pole vault, finishing sixth.
• Brent Forrest set a personal record in the pole vault by clearing 14-7.25 to move him into fourth place all-time in the record books.
• Reggie Reynolds placed seventh in the weight throw with a throw of 48-10.25
• Treonte Newton sprinted a time of 49.77 in the 400 dash finals to earn sixth.
• Jaylan Adams finished seventh in the 60m dash finals with a time of 7.12
• The 4x400 meter relay team of Kane Duncan, Treonte Newton, Jeremey Walker, and Luke Segee earned a fifth-place finish with a time of 3:22.93.
• Sam Sharnas competed in the 5000m run, finishing 10th overall with a time of 14:51.88

Women's Results

• Tatiana Corso set a personal record in the weight throw with a throw of 49-1 to earn seventh and placing herself fifth all-time in the school's record book.
• Mecca Jackson, Jay Mitchell, Leah Murray, and Gabby Shea earned seventh place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:06.17.
