WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The men's and women's track and field teams will compete this Thursday at the JDL Team Challenge in North Carolina.
The Bulldogs continue to dominate in the field events, collecting seven Top-10 finishes at the Liberty Open.
Stephen Kraeling posted his second Top-10 finish of the indoor season with a second-place finish in the high jump at Liberty.
Prince Howard-Whitaker has multiple Top-10 finishes in the weight throw and shot put in the past two weekends.
Sam Blumer appeared in his first meet at the Liberty Open, finishing fifth overall in the pole vault.
Carisma Holland is off to an impressive start to her Bulldog career. After being named the Southern Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week in her first competition, Holland followed it up by setting the school's all-time indoor record in the shot put that has stood since 2007 with a put of 46-8.25
Tatiana Corso finished in first place in the open shot-put division at the Liberty Open with a put of 39-10.00 The mark ranks ninth all-time on the school's indoor list.
Emily Hickey set her personal record in the pole vault by clearing 10-6.75.
Mecca Jackson ran a personal best of 8.01 in the 60m dash prelims to qualify for the semifinals at Liberty.
