CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's tennis team returns back to action at home against the University of Delaware on Wed. Mar 30 at the Earle Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs will then travel to Macon, Georgia, to face their Southern Conference opponent, the Mercer Bears, with one match on Sat. Apr. 2 at 2 p.m.
The Citadel has a 6-19 record for the season and 0-3 in conference play. The Bulldogs recently lost to UNCG in a close match, 4-3.
The No. 1 singles player,
Hayden Shoemake, has 15 singles victories on the season, and the No. 2 singles player,
Zvonko Bencedic, has 14 wins on the season.
The University of Delaware is 7-8 on the 2022 season with a recent victory over South Carolina State, 4-3.
Mercer is 6-10 on the season and 0-2 in conference play. The Bears lost to Chattanooga, 5-2, on Mar. 27.
