Bulldogs Close Home Season Against Samford

GAME NOTES

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel closes out the 2022 home schedule as the Bulldogs welcome Samford to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on May 13-15. The series gets underway Friday at 6 p.m., and continues with a 2 p.m. start on Saturday and a 1 p.m. first pitch on Sunday. All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Temperatures are expected to be around 80 degrees for all three games. A chance of rain exists for the series opener.

All three games against Samford will be broadcast on ESPN+. Luke Mauro will be on the call for all three contests.

vs. Samford
The Citadel and Samford have met 36 times prior with Samford holding a 26-10 advantage in the series. Samford has won 10-straight contests. This will be the first series played in Charleston since 2018.

Skole Goes 4-for-4
Tilo Skole went 4-for-4 with a double, walk, sacrifice bunt and two RBIs in the midweek game against Winthrop.

On Deck
The Bulldogs play their final midweek game of the season as they travel across the Ravenel Bridge to face College of Charleston on May 15. First pitch from Patriots Point is set for 6 p.m.
