Baseball Hosts Winthrop in Final Home Midweek Game

GAME NOTES

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel plays its final home midweek game of the season as the Bulldogs welcome Winthrop to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on May 10. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Tickets for all home games are available on CitadelSports.com/tickets or by calling the box office at 843-953-DOGS. Tickets will also be available at the stadium box office starting one hour before first pitch.

vs. Winthrop
The Bulldogs and Eagles are meeting for the second time this season. The Citadel went on the road and defeated Winthrop, 11-5, on April 26.

McCarthy's Bat at Wofford
Ryan McCarthy came through with some big hits in the weekend series at Wofford. In the series opener, he gave the Bulldogs the lead with a triple and scoring on the error, then came back in the finale with a solo homer to put the Dogs ahead by one.

Honoring Seniors
The Citadel will honor seven seniors prior to their final home games this weekend. Will Bastian, Jordan Beatson, Tyler Dunn, Cameron Reeves, Cole Simpson and Lathan Todd will be honored this weekend.

On Deck
The Bulldogs play their final home games of the season as they welcome Samford to Riley Park on May 13-15.
