Ciaran Traquair has announced his team's 2022 schedule, featuring ten home matches and eight away contests.

The Bulldogs have two home exhibitions scheduled against College of Charleston August 8, then Campbell August 13 before embarking to Annapolis, Md. for their season opener at Navy Aug. 18. The Citadel then opens up its home season with a three-match home stand, beginning with UNC Asheville Aug. 25, Gardner-Webb Aug. 28, and South Carolina Upstate Sept. 2.
Coach Traquair's squad flips the agenda with a three-match road swing that includes Presbyterian Sept. 4, Stetson Sept. 8, and Jacksonville Sept. 10. The last two of The Citadel's non-conference slate sees them host Charleston Southern Sept. 13 and South Carolina State Sept. 20.
The Citadel begins its SoCon season on the road, visiting Samford Sept. 23 and Chattanooga Sept. 25. They return home for two matches against Western Carolina Sept. 30 and East Tennessee State Oct. 2. The Bulldogs head off for two more away contests against Furman Oct. 6 and Wofford Oct. 9 before rounding out the season at home against Mercer Oct. 14, UNCG Oct. 21, and VMI Oct. 23. The SoCon Tournament will take place the following week.
The Bulldogs have their eyes set on building off a stellar 2021 season that produced ten wins and a SoCon Tournament victory. The Citadel set program records for points (120), goals (43), assists (34), goals allowed (22), goals allowed average (1.16), save percentage (.838), and shutouts (8).
