SPARTANBURG, S.C.- The Citadel outside hitter
Ali Ruffin was named Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 12-18 announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Ruffin was tabbed as Player of the week after recording 76 kills, 53 digs and 6 service aces over the span of the past week. She was named Tournament MVP after the Fairfield Inn and Suites Dunn Campbell Invitational.
The sophomore continues to lead the Bulldogs through the start of the season with 205 kills and 177 digs.
The Bulldogs will travel to Greenville, S.C. to compete against Furman for their conference-opener on Sept. 21. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.
